Travelling party: Couple

A delightful site, with hardstanding and excellent views across open countryside. Some shade under cork oaks. Dutch owner helpful and considerate. Sanitary facs are modern and the number adequate, unless the site full, when timing becomes important.

Travelling party: Couple

We stayed for 5 nights (on our ACSI card). Very friendly owner (and his family). The toilets/showers were very clean, plenty of hot water etc. Washing machine & outside drying area. Lovely pool. It is next to the road but we didn't find it intrusive. Great area to explore.

Niall Hamilton, on this campsite in September 2015

Travelling party: Couple

There is nothing wrong with this campsite, showers were very good plenty of hot water and the toilets were clean. The swimming pool looked good. The pitches were of a good size. We had been before but had forgotten how close to the main road the site was. There was a continual flow of both cars and heavy goods all night. Would not use again

What a fantastic site! Absolutely no hesitation in recommending a stay here, the owner is sooooooo friendly and helpful. The pitches are great, with the best free wifi we've come across. The area has lots to see and is very beautiful. Brilliant!

Have stayed each year since the site opened when travelling in both directions from the UK to the Algarve. The owners are" hands on" and wonderfully attentive to visitors' needs. Much progress has been made to extend and improve the site and is highly recommended for either long or short stays.

Travelling party: Seniors

We have stayed here several times, and each time we return there have been more improvements. This year more gravel covered pitches, free wifi on the top and bottom pitches - and a wonderful evening organised by the owner. We visited a local restaurant and enjoyed 5 courses with delicious wine for 13 euros a head! It was a lovely atmosphere and added to the general friendliness of all the campers and the owner.Keep up the good work. Fantastic. Visited Vila Vicosa and the wine co-op at Borba this year. Both excellent. Vila Vicosa in particular is a must.

Travelling party: Seniors

I cannot recommend this campsite highly enough. The owner is sooooo friendly and helpful, he works very hard to keep everything immaculate. He even arranges a Happy hour at reception a couple of times a week (bring your own bottle) where you will get to know fellow campers. There is even a small "library" in reception. We will definitely return, in fact we can't wait.

Travelling party: Seniors

Our third visit and we will be back. A delightful site with a helpful owner who cares about his guests. Free wi-fi is a bonus and there is so much to see in the area that we are hoping to return next year for a longer stay so that we can explore and discover even more of the excellent wines and insteresting towns in the area.

Travelling party: Couple

Me and my family have been coming here since 2010 and we always dream of returning each year. It is lovely and relaxing with a wonderful host family to take care of all your needs. Fresh bread each morning, still warm from the bakery with coffee is heaven. Great facilities for washing, cooking and cleaning a womans dream a home from home:-)
Honestly if you're looking for a great break with a relaxing atmosphere and great hospitality Camping Alentejo is the place to go..xx

A lovely site with a smashing owner, so friendly and helpful. There was a really friendly atmosphere with people from all nations making friends with one another. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area, and wonderful views from the campsite. We stayed 6 nights, and will stay longer next time!
