Travelling party: Couple

Booked this campsite on the basis that the pictures reflected reality, far from it. The positives: The female half of the owners was warm and welcoming. The toilet facilities were very clean.
The negatives: The owners husband and his daughter were completely disinterested in their guests and made no attempt to welcome us, in fact quite the opposite. On arrival even though we were the only people there we were directed past the flat part of the site and asked to pitch up in the field that had a 30 degree slope! We were awoke every morning by the owner grazing his sheep in the field where we were pitched and then spent the rest of the day swotting flies. There was no hot water in the showers, however it always seemed to work for the French family who were the only other campers. Despite several request the hot water to be fixed and being assured that all would be ok next time ,no hot water was ever available. It would appear the British are not top of the popularity chart here for what ever reason. We would have left after the first night but had arrangements for the next campsite which could not be brought forward. I would point out that I am not a paranoid xenophobic, having lived in France for eight years, but someone who knows when their not welcome. Would not recommend unless your French.
