We had a wonderful stay here. Such a beautiful site. The pitches are very spacious and the old stone walls on the site give it a very rustic feel. Jenny and Nigel were friendly and helpful and full of information about the area. We loved lazing by the swimming pool in the late afternoon with the view of the old farmhouse and the gardens. Can\'t wait to go back.
Very nice quiet site in beautiful surroundings. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They keep the site clean and tranquille and we enjoyed sharing a beer with them in the evenings. We swam in the river Lot and enjoyed canoeing on the river Célé. We will definitely come back
Yes I agree with the previous reviewer, Nigel was also very rude to us. He speaks to you as though you are a child he has no manners or customer service skills. You are not allowed to wear swimming shorts in the pool, or chat outside after 10 o\'clock. It is a shame because the site could be so very nice!!!
In the past we have been 6 times to this wonderful campsite situated in a great environment. We really loved it and told everybody we met to visit the campsite. In different reviews (camping guides) is written that the owners are very kind and make you feel welcome. Be aware: it’s about the former owners. The “new” owners, Nigel and Jenny, run this campsite in a different way. Nigel is unreliable and unpredictable in his behaviour. He can shout terrible to guests when they don’t adapt to written and unwritten rules. I have experienced this two times and that was the reason we left this campsite immediately. I don’t want to wish anybody a feeling of insecurity during a holiday. It is a pity that this owners destroy this wonderful campsite. The unpredictability makes that quests are careful and alert.
This is a lovely site in a stunning location .It is set in a narrow valley with a stream running through. The pitches were large and , in early June, we had plenty of choice. There was an information folder with details of local walks, cycle routes, local markets etc, which was very helpful. We did the walk directly from the site which was a lovely walk, about 6 miles, with lovely views and full of interest. The beautiful village of Cirq Lapopie is close by, as are many other lovely villages. The Lot valley is stunning and this site was perfect as a base for exploring the area.
Super quiet friendly site. Our pitch had lots of shade and a great view up the valley. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic fortnight at Ruisseau du Treil. The pitches were flat, very large and had some shade, which helped the tent cool down in the evening. The two pools were clean and despite being well used, never felt overcrowded. As well as the pool there was an area for playing boules, table football, table tennis, a park and bikes that could be borrowed free of charge. There was also a well stocked library for those who were less sporty! The bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. The owners were very helpful and friendly and booked day trips for us to go to Peche Merle and canoeing. A lovely peaceful campsite which we would definitely recommend.
New owners this year, making improvements to the site.
Better power arrangements - more bollards, but not greater amperage (still 5).
One toilet block has been re-furbished, second one still to be done.
Access lane within site to majority of pitches requires some work to be done to enable units easier access.
Access into the site reasonable, but not so good for leaving as leads out onto a blind bend on the road through the village.
Food being cooked on site at very good prices - well received.
As the site is in a fairly narrow valley, sunrise can be late and sunset can be early.
Wifi on site, but mobile phones do not work on site. Must go out of site onto road through village to obtain a signal.
Good effort being made to improve site by new owners.
Beautiful campsite. Quiet and very friendly. Stunning surroundings with lots to do (especially walking) in the area. The swimming pool area is great to soak up the sun and cool off! This was perfect for us in June.
