Travelling party: Couple

Deze camping is prima voor 1 nacht om Wenen te bezoeken maar voor langere tijd vinden wij het niet geschikt. De weg die dichtbij de camping ligt is een doorgaande drukke weg die je ’s-morgens vroeg al hoort. Ook heb je bijna iedere dag nieuwe buren.
Het sanitair is erg eenvoudig maar schoon. De ontvangst op de camping is zeer goed. Wij werden erg goed voorgelicht over de mogelijkheden om Wenen te bezoeken.
Wij zijn op de fiets vanaf de camping naar Wenen gereden maar dat is wel een uitdaging. De fietspaden houden regelmatig opeens op en dan moet je een stuk over de weg rijden waar de auto’s je toch met behoorlijke snelheid passeren. Wel houdt de gemiddelde Oostenrijker rekening met fietsers op de weg.
Je kunt ook je auto bij Parkplatz Siebenbrunn zetten en dan voor €6,00 p.p. een metrokaartje kopen waarmee je heel Wenen door kunt reizen de hele dag.
De prijs voor camping die wij betaalden in augustus voor 2 personen met een caravan was € 26,00 p. nacht. Dat vonden wij redelijk. Wanneer je Wenen wilt bezoeken maar meer rust wilt is de boerencamping in Kaumberg meer aan te raden.
Tip: het eten in Stift Heiligenkreuz is zeer goed en niet duur. Dit voormalige klooster en de abdij zijn ook prachtig om te zien. Echt een aanrader.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Prima terrassencamping op 30 km vanaf Wenen. De entree is wat rommelig, er is weinig aandacht besteedt aan uiterlijk vertoon in de receptie en zo. Maar de eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er rijdt een bus naar Wenen (via S-Bahn), vlakbij de camping. Schoon sanitair. Wij hebben er geen eten gehad, dus daar kan ik eigenlijk niets over zeggen. Zelfde geldt voor de sportfaciliteiten. Goede plek in de mooie omgeving

Travelling party: Couple

Primacamping. Bij regen zijn de plaatsen glibberig door klei achtige grond en wordt alles smerig. Zeer behulpzame cheffin. Net sanitair en vrije plaatskeuze. Wifi prima bij receptie maar onder in het dal nauwelijks bereikbaar. Af en toe stroomuitval. Uitstekende broodjes service. In het plaatsje zelf is in het naseizoen niets te doen. Een geldautomaat op loopafstand is het enige vertier. Uit eten kun je in het weekend bij Renate’s Postschänke. Prima uitvalbasis voor tripje naar Wenen. Parkeren bij filmteichstrasze en dan U-bahn lijn U1 Oberlaa door het Oberlaa park lopen. Dagkaart ov kost 8 euro en nog wat.
