Travelling party: Couple

Fantastische parel van een camping in een schitterende Italiaanse Vallei. Precies wat we zochten! Heerlijk groen en mooie ruime plekken. Koelkast met koude drankjes, mogelijkheid om koelelementen in te vriezen. Veel informatie te vinden in een gemeenschappelijke ruimte met WiFi over wat er allemaal te doen is in de omgeving. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren! Wij hebben enorm genoten!

Travelling party: Seniors

Ik ben in augustus 2022 ruim 2 weken op deze camping geweest. Er ligt een klapper met allerlei (berg)wandelingen (hikes) die je in dit dal kunt doen (zodat je weet hoe lang de tocht ongeveer zal zijn); sommige kun je direct vanaf de camping maken. De omgeving is schitterend! Ook tochtjes naar bijvoorbeeld het meer van Mergozzo en het Ortha meer (waar je kunt zwemmen) of naar Domodossola zijn goed vanaf de camping op een dag te doen. De camping is zeer rustig en het gebied is eigenlijk onontdekt, je vindt er nog lieflijke dorpjes, waar de tijd stil lijkt te staan. Ook voor kinderen is er veel te doen. Behalve lichte bergwandelingen kun je naar het goudmijn museum (vroeger werd er op veel plaatsen in het dal goud gewonnen, er zijn dus nog veel verlaten goudmijnen), zwemmen op een \'geheime plek\" (een plek in de rivier waar het nauwelijks stroomt), of pootje baden in de rivier en spelen met stenen. Of met de kabelbaan of stoeltjeslift naar hogere bergtoppen! NB: het Monte Rosa massief wordt wel vergeleken met de Himalaya!

In september 2021 stond ik heerlijk rustig op deze camping, m\'n uitzicht adembenemend zoals op de laatste foto. De beheerders zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en de vallei is schitterend.

Prachtige camping, mooi gelegen en ruime plaatsen. Alles wat een camping nodig heeft is er maar niets teveel. Geen lawaai, geen zwembad of disco! Precies goed, we hebben genoten.

Heerlijk rustige camping, vriendelijk behulpzame eigenaar. Prachtige omgeving, veel te doen. Lange bergwandelingen, mooie kleine plaatsjes in een dal dat nog de sfeer van de vorige eeuw uitademt, zeker niet toeristisch.
