this is one of best sites we have stayed at. It has toilets with seats, toilet paper and they are kept clean. The showers are the best, you have a hot and cold tap and you can leave them on, no push buttons here. The beach is across the road. There is a quaint bbq area really nice with seating. We definitely recommend this site you will not be disappointed. Well done Gaivota Camping.

We only stayed one night and moved on because the weather forecast was not good, but this site is right on the beach. Great pitches and showers. Would definately reuturn. Spotlessly clean and well run.

We had an overnight stop over here. The campsite was lovely and quite. Across the road from a stretch of beach. The pitches are small and fit our small car and 2 person tent. They are grassy and easy to pitch into. Nice bbq area and bathrooms are cleaned regularly.

Really nice, if a little small. Perfect for an overnight stop over or few a few days if you were wanting to stop and take advantage of the surf. A lot of things are accessible from this campsite, by driving, walking, or cycling. The beach is just across the road and there are many beaches along the road this site is on with many different bars and restaurants, you are certainly spoilt for choice. The site alas wonderfully hot and powerful showers and is extremely clean. The pitches are a little on the small side but there is more than enough room and they are all very private being hedged enclosures. There is a lovely BBQ area in the centre and a very useful and sufficient washing area. The bar has live music on some nights and many Galician specialities, there was no music the night we stayed but I understand they are considerate to their guests and it finishes at a respectable hour for Spain
All in all a very pleasant site to stay at within the comforting sound of the sea

Stayed here for a couple of nights at start of trip in June 2015, lovely site and very friendly staff. We only moved on when weather changed, but made a point of calling in when we were on way home and were welcomed as old friends.

A very tidy little campsite in a lovely position just across the road from the sea. The very nice beach is reached by steps down. Staff are always helpful and friendly. There is a small shop for emergencies, bread is pre ordered daily.
The pitches are very small, just room for a caravan and car or awning, not both. We have a largish tent and we had to tie the guys to the trees on one side. Even then there was no room for the car which was parked outside or on a vacant pitch. I would advise anyone with a large tent (more than 6 people) to find an alternative site. No hot water in the washing up area. Toilets were adequate and spotless.

Travelling party: Seniors

A very pleasant site, with a very welcoming and attractively designed bar/restaurant. It\'s across a [minor] road from the beach, and the coastline for 10 miles in either direction is very flat, so ideal for cycling around. As mentioned, the pitches are not the largest, but were ok for us in a 6.5 metre \'van. We stayed five nights and could happily have been here for longer.

Travelling party: Seniors

An excellent site with friendly owners.pleasant little bar and very attractive barbecue area. The sanitation block is fairly well hidden by shrubs, and the whole site is well planted. Excellent location opposite a lovely beach and coastal cycle path. Not too far or difficult to cycle to a supermarket.pitches on the small side but sufficient and private, most being marked by mature shrubs and trees

Travelling party: Couple

Spent a couple of nights here unfortunately the weather was not kind and so the beach was out of the question which was a shame as it's so close. Staff very friendly, food good eat in or takeaway. Little shop for fresh provisions, which was good as it is out on its own whIth just a few bars close. Only downside pitches are very small and close together, we were in campervan so ok but a lot of people seemed to struggle a little manoeuvring into place, well worth an overnight stay.

I pre booked this site and I was impressed that I actually got reply.
The site itself is great and the beach you could throw a stone at it and not miss.
However if like me you have a large outfit ( a 8m caravan ) then you will find it difficult if you dont have a motor mover, then you are restricted to two pitches.
The staff are really very good and make your stay enjoyable .
