Nice little camping. We stayed in camping just one night at end of the season. We were only guests there, but still everything was just perfect. Clean toilets, hot water,.. very friendly owner Paul helped us with many advices about visiting Romania. Definitely worth staying there!
Great site, price was very good. Would have stayed longer but we were on our way to Italy. The owner is friendly and the whole experience was great. Would definitely visit again.... A thumbs up for this site.
We arrived on a busy Friday night without booking and were made very welcome by the owner and his family, nothing was too much trouble! The meal that was prepared for us at short notice was lovely. We only stayed one night as we were on route to Sibui, we would definitely stay again if passing that way.
really nice people speaking very good english, helped us with everything we needed. The place is very peaceful and quiet. The toilets and showers are very clean And the price is definitely worth it. We spend only one night but we definitely would like to come back.
A marvellous little site that we would definitely visit again and stay for more than 1 night.
Paul and his wife are so welcoming and friendly and cooked us the most delicious meal.
We can't fault the site in any way.
An amazing little site! If you want commercial big business sites with no contact with the owners, don't go. However, if you like a warm welcome, fabulous food, cold beer and a barbecue at fantastic prices go here. We've never been to Romania before but this place enchanted us, we were only going to stay for two nights but stayed 7 and were sorry to go. It's a fabulous place to act as a base to explore nearby Arad and there's a vineyard 500m away and a supermarket. Best of all are the owners who helped us find a vet for our dog, went with us on trips to explore, took us shopping and cooked us the best barbecue ever, looked after our kids, made us laugh and even invited us to a big family meal outside. The Dutch campers who are the majority were really friendly and fun too. The people we spoke to come back year after year. Don't be put off by the dirt track approach and farming equipment nearby, when you get in it's a small paradise.
We called this campsite in desperation as we were on a very unfriendly site in Timosuera. We were answered in excellent English with very helpful and friendly answers to our questions and when we arrived, were bowled over by the fantastic family welcome. This place is a must visit. It's small, quiet and out of the way. When you arrive there is no pressure to pay or register, you are just asked to make yourself comfortable and sort out the details when you're ready. There are shaded pitches with electric. Paul and his family run the site with a friendliness we've never seen on another camp site. There is a large accessible barbecue, the toilets and showers are cleaned thoroughly, they are spotless. The wifi is lightning fast. Pauls family will cook for you in the evening and the food is superb, we ate with the family in in the evening and could barely walk we ate so much. Nearby there is large, safe lake to swim in and a small pool onsite to cool off. We're going back next year.
This was our first stop in Romania and the owner couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. Cheap and friendly, with a fridge full of beer, and after a long day riding through Hungary they even arranged an evening meal for us. Thoroughly recommended.
